【摘要】:ThisInternationalStandardspecifiesthephysicalandmagneticcharacteristicsofa12,7mmwide,128-trackmagnetictapecartridge,toenablephysicalinterchangeabilityofsuchcartridgesbetweendrives.Italsospecifiesthequalityoftherecordedsignals,aformat-calledDigitalLinearTape3Extended(DLT3-XT)-andarecordingmethod,therebyallowingdatainterchangebetweendrives.Togetherwithalabellingstandard,forinstanceInternationalStandardISO1001forMagneticTapeLabelling,itallowsfulldatainterchangebymeansofsuchmagnetictapecartridges.
