【摘要】:1.1Thisspecificationcoverslightweightaggregatesintendedforuseinconcretenotexposedtotheweather,inwhichtheprimeconsiderationisthethermalinsulatingpropertyoftheresultingconcrete.1.2Thetextofthisstandardreferencesnotesandfootnoteswhichprovideexplanatorymaterial.Thesenotesandfootnotes(excludingthoseintablesandfigures)shallnotbeconsideredasrequirementsofthestandard.1.3Withregardtosievesizeandthesizeofaggregateasdeterminedbytheuseoftestingsieves,thevaluesininch-poundunitsareshownfortheconvenienceoftheuser;however,thestandardsievedesignationshowninparenthesesisthestandardvalueasstatedinSpecificationE11.1.3.1Withregardtootherunitsofmeasure,thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.ThevaluesgiveninparenthesesaremathematicalconversionstoSIunitsthatareprovidedforinformationonlyandarenotconsideredstandard.1.4Thefollowingprecautionarycaveatpertainsonlytothetestmethodportion,Section6,ofthespecification:Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
