【摘要】:1.1Thisspecificationcoversrequirementsforforgedsteelshapesforhighlystressedstructuralmembersrequiringyieldstrengthsinexcessof140ksi[965MPa].1.2Thisspecificationisnotintendedforapplicationslimitedbycreepdeformation.1.3Twenty-sevengradesarecoveredbythisspecification.Selectionwilldependupondesign,serviceconditions,andmechanicalpropertiesrequired.1.4Supplementaryrequirementsareprovidedforusewhenadditionaltestingorinspectionisdesired.Theseshallapplyonlywhenspecifiedindividuallybythepurchaserintheorder.1.5ThevaluesstatedineitherSIunitsorinch-poundunitsaretoberegardedseparatelyasstandard.Thevaluesstatedineachsystemmaynotbeexactequivalents;therefore,eachsystemshallbeusedindependentlyoftheother.Combiningvaluesfromthetwosystemsmayresultinnon-conformancewiththestandard.1.6Unlesstheorderspecifiestheapplicablex201C;Mx201D;specificationdesignation,thematerialshallbefurnishedtotheinch-poundunits.
