【摘要】:Thistestmethodprovidesaguideforevaluationoftheapparentdensityphysicalcharacteristicofpowders.Thedensitymeasuredbearsarelationshiptothemassofpowderthatwillfillafixedvolumediecavitywhenpartsarebeingmade.Thedegreeofcorrelationbetweentheresultsofthistestmethodandthequalityofpowdersinusewillvarywitheachparticularapplication.1.1Thistestmethodcoversaprocedurefordeterminingtheapparentdensityofnon-free-flowingmetalpowders.ItisdesignedforthosemetalpowdersthatdonotfreelyflowthroughtheHallflowmeterfunnel.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
