【摘要】:ThisSAERecommendedPracticedefines,illustrates,andspecifiesallowablelimitsforvarioustypesofsurfacediscontinuitiesthatmayoccurduringthemanufactureandprocessingofbolts,screws,andstudsinsizesthrough24mmor1indiameterinclusivewithlengthsto150mmor6ininclusive,havingspecifiedminimumtensilestrengthsof900MPaor120000psiandgreater,whichareprimarilyintendedforuseinautomotiveassemblies.Thebasicrecommendedpracticedoesnotincludeinspectionsamplingrequirements.Itisintendedthatthepurchasershallspecify,intheoriginalinquiryandpurchaseorder,theinspectionsamplingrequirementswhichtheproducermustsatisfytodemonstratetheacceptabilityofboltsandscrewswithrespecttosurfacediscontinuities.
